oh i do mean to write, i really do. this past weekend i have been in the beautiful little countryside called keldy, in the most precious little log cabin with a crackling, glittering fire and chimney and frost dusted walls. captain bethan came too and we lay beneath the milky way in our very own mermaid lagoon. the stars were just so magical and the sky was so clear like a diamond that you could see every star. the tiny, weak faraway stars and the bright, bold and beautiful stars too. and neverland. and bethan told me all about the stars and my little ears took in all her perfect words and my head popped with galaxies and milky ways and plutos.
the next day we were all so toasty and warm in our beds, but papa cooked us a delicious breafast with salty bacon and eggs and orange juice and we had such a lovely time, and watching us, just a few paces away from our window was the most beautiful little wild deer and all my wishes came true as it stood gently on the sparkling, dew-drop grass. i wanted to take it home with me so badly. everywhere we looked we saw tiny brown bunny rabbits just like peter and flopsy and mopsy and cotton tail. we saw big red cows too, with big pink noses.
the next day we were so very tired as we had walked so far so we dressed up in our grey pinafores and blue wooly jumpers and went to a tiny village with a chocolate factory and stream. so we chewed on mountains of fudge and giggled at the clumsy ducks as they wobbled across the little wooden bridge. after that we drove past dainty stone houses and i dreamed of tea and scones and toffee apples and my very own vegetable patch.
